Toyota’s new supercar breaks cover at Goodwood FOS

UPDATE: I've added an interior shot, scoot to the bottom of the post!
July 10: Oh my word. Are we nearly there?
Toyota slash Lexus has been making us wait a long damn time for the desperately anticipated LFA follow-up, but the mystery machine has finally made a public debut at this week's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Which I'm not at, because I'm an idiot and timed my Australian return far too closely to Goodwood's dates.
THE CAR THOUGH
Donning camouflage, both the production prototype and its racing sibling made a quiet parade run up the famous hillclimb, giving us our best look yet at what’s to come from Toyota’s performance division.
I've posted a few videos below. The first is my shitty screen recording from Goodwood's own livestream, while the others are earlier spy videos.
NOTE: If the Goodwood video doesn't load, check it out here on Threads.

Toyota remains tight-lipped on whether this will wear a Lexus or Gazoo Racing badge, but the car itself is doing plenty of talking.
The prototype appears to have final bodywork, revealing a classic supercar silhouette with the long bonnet and short rear deck.
The design has presence, looking low and wide – especially at the rear!

The big question remains the powertrain.
There are loads of rumours and speculation, but nothing is known for sure yet. Expectations are for a twin-turbo V8 (I mean, listen to it) with some hybrid electric work for extra kick and probably a bit of greenwashing to boot.
Seeing the car in the metal (through my screen), even under wraps, confirms Toyota isn't just building a successor to the LFA... it's aiming for a mic drop.
For now, we'll have to wait for the official details, but it’s clear that something significant is on its way.

UPDATE, July 12: Interior revealed!
The lads at CarScoops posted this interior shot, I must've missed it in the livestream.
Looks good. Very Lexus, but perhaps not as cool as the absolutely flawless LC500 interior.
